What You Will Do: As the Manager of Community Management for L'Oreal Designer Fragrance Brands (Mugler, Maison Margiela, Jacquemus), you will be developing and executing innovative strategies to cultivate thriving online communities around our prestigious fragrance portfolio. You will be responsible for driving engagement, amplifying brand storytelling, and fostering authentic connections with a discerning clientele. This role requires a deep understanding of the luxury beauty landscape, a passion for digital engagement, an entrepreneurial spirit and a proven ability to influence others. This role also requires strong copywriting skills and the ability to develop a unique tone of voice for each brand, ensuring consistent and impactful communication across all platforms.

  • Community Management Strategy & Leadership:Develop and execute the overarching community management strategy for L'Oreal Designer Fragrance Brands, providing strategic direction and guidance on best practices and tactical implementation. Establish KPIs and performance benchmarks, regularly analyze results, and adapt strategies to optimize performance.
  • Market Share Growth Support: Support US A&I market share growth by identifying active community members and recommending potential candidates for advocacy and influencer programs. Track community engagement and sentiment to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Luxury Fragrance Brand Storytelling: Craft compelling narratives, develop a distinct tone of voice and curate engaging content that resonates with the target audience for each fragrance brand, emphasizing olfactory experiences, craftsmanship, and brand heritage reflecting their unique identity and values.
  • Community Building & Engagement:Develop and implement innovative strategies to build and nurture engaged online communities across various platforms. Monitor online conversations and sentiment to identify opportunities and address potential issues both individually as well as with agency partners.
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting:Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of community management initiatives. Generate regular reports on community growth, engagement, consumer sentiment and social listening. Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Trend Forecasting & Innovation:Stay abreast of emerging trends in social media, digital marketing, and the luxury fragrance industry. Identify opportunities to leverage new platforms, technologies, and strategies to enhance community engagement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:Collaborate closely with Marketing, A&I, CRM, E-commerce, and Customer Relations (L'Oreal Le Care) teams to ensure alignment and integration of community management efforts with broader brand initiatives.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in community management or social media marketing, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven experience developing and executing community management strategies for luxury brands, preferably within the beauty industry.
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms, community management tools, and analytics platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication, project management, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong copywriting skills and a demonstrated ability to adapt writing style to different brand voices

Preferred:

  • Social Media Marketing / Community Management certifications.
  • Experience with luxury fragrance brands.
  • Spanish language proficiency
