Job Type UnclassifiedDepartment RecorderAbout the Position The Flagging Technician will participate in reviewing signatures on mail-in early ballot packets in accordance with standardized processes and procedures. The Flagging Technician must be detail-oriented and handle high volumes of time-sensitive tasks. They will assist with curing activities and with completing data entry for voter requests. This position requires strong computer skills. About Us The Maricopa County Recorder's Office (MCRO) is responsible for maintaining the Maricopa County voter registration records and for administering over elections in partnership with the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors. The MCRO also maintains the permanent public record of over 50 million documents dating back to 1871, including deeds, plat maps, and a variety of other important documents. Our office serves over 2.5 million registered voters as well as 4.4 million residents across Maricopa County. Working Conditions This position requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods. The successful candidate must be comfortable working on a computer for up to 8 hours a day. The position requires the ability to lift from floor to shoulder and shoulder to waist a minimum of 25 pounds, and to carry it for 100 feet. The position requires extensive overtime.
