Lead APP - Advanced Practice Provider (APP) (NP or PA) MaineHealth Urgent Care, North Conway, NH: Partner with the practice manager to provides on-site clinical and operational leadership for North Conway Urgent Care, combining direct patient care with workflow coordination, quality oversight, and team support.

Provider Responsibilities:

  • Provide evidence-based urgent care.
  • Manage provider scheduling.
  • Participate in onboarding and interviewing.
  • Assist with chart review and performance concerns.
  • Attend leadership meetings to review scorecards and metrics.
  • Review SafetyNet and Press Ganey data to support improvement.

MA Oversight:

  • Partner with Lead MA on medication and supply ordering.
  • Oversee CBO tool usage and follow-up.
  • Serve as on-site resource for workflow and clinical questions.
  • Maintain awareness of MA-related KPIs.
  • Collaborate with nursing leadership on standards and staffing.

Leadership Expectations:

  • Promote psychological safety and advocacy.
  • Address conflict constructively and communicate clearly.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and support professional growth.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and appropriate escalation.
  • Lead change and maintain accountability.
  • Support team culture and operational reliability.

Data, Metrics, & Quality Monitoring:

  • Maintain awareness of Access, Quality, Safety, Experience, and Operational metrics.
  • Help translate metrics into practical workflow habits.
  • Participate in leadership reviews and action planning.
  • Support SafetyNet and Press Ganey follow-up.

Onboarding & Education:

  • Support structured onboarding for APPs and MAs.
  • Assist with EMR and workflow training.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree as NP or PA with active NH licensure.
  • National certification and DEA/controlled substance registration.
  • 2+ years urgent care or acute care experience.
  • Prior leadership experience preferred.

Work Conditions:

  • Mix of clinical and administrative work.
  • Evening/weekend/holiday shifts as required.
  • Occasional travel for meetings.
