Job Description: Airbus Americas, Inc is looking for a Completions Integration Manager to join our team based in Mobile, AL. The Completions Integration Manager is a critical strategic role supporting the Operations Senior Director. This position ensures the seamless integration of support functions and fosters robust collaboration across the Multi-Functional Team (MFT). The successful candidate will drive significant impact by ensuring support projects effectively align with operational demands, facilitating major operational ramp-ups, and managing resource/competency strategies to enable scaling and sustained performance Meet the Team: Our Engineers at the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing facility take our aircraft from concept to customer delivery - working with production teams on every aspect of assembly from managing technical information, quality control, maintenance tasks and health & safety - along flowlines and flightlines. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. Your Challenges:
Strategic Collaboration: Support the Operations Senior Director by integrating support functions and driving operational excellence across the MFT. Risk Management: Maintain accountability for proactive risk identification (via tools like ARM) and execute change plans to mitigate operational risks. Continuous Improvement: Enhance the business management system to optimize performance across all SQCDP (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, People) areas; leverage company-driven improvement programs. System Deployment: Enable the deployment and maturity of essential operational systems (e.g., Airbus Operating System). Resource & Rate Readiness: Conduct comprehensive rate readiness planning; strategically place resources and competencies to support significant operational ramp-ups and future build demands. Talent Development: Partner with HR to champion recruitment, training, and talent development strategies aligned with future strategic requirements. Team Leadership: Manage and lead a direct team, ensure training efficacy, and equip operational stations with necessary resources. Cross-Functional Issue Resolution: Resolve complex issues with interfacing functions (Engineering, Supply Chain, etc.) to clear operational bottlenecks and meet build targets. Leadership Delegation: Act as a delegate for the Operations Senior Director, including running the Daily L3 review.
Your Boarding Pass:
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Quality Management, Aerospace Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Aviation Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in aviation required. Leadership Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience managing and leading within an aviation production environment. Systems Expertise: Leadership experience deploying the Airbus Operations System and/or Continuous Improvement frameworks in an aviation environment is required. Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English. Customer expectations & needs, Drive Improvement/Quality/Innovation, Drive strategic orientation, Financial impacts of decisions, Interact & Influence, Make/implement decisions, Manage human aspect of change, Manage operations, Manage People & Teams. Data Analytics Essentials, Data Governance Management System, Export Control Basics, Information system and data knowledge, Sustainability fundamentals. Developing short and mid-term resource planning scenarios to forecast future needs. Influencing the overall health and strategic direction of the business reported to the Site Head of FAL. Optimizing the allocation of significant company resources (personnel, equipment). Developing dynamic plans to ensure On-Time and In-Full Quality delivery. Launching and overseeing problem-solving initiatives for repeat SQCDP issues. Managing integrated Multi-Functional Teams and driving operational cost savings. Acting as a delegate to run Daily L3 reviews and addressing immediate daily operational issues. Direct mitigation of risks-such as delays to Single Aisle Ramp-ups-which carry significant financial and customer impacts.

Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs. Lifting: able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs. Pushing / Pulling: able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools. Sitting: able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on computer. Squatting / Kneeling: able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving. Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on production floor. Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice. Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents): able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces.
