  • Execute mechanical, electrical, and fluid system installations based on detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and BOMs.
  • Diagnose and resolve wiring, fitment, and plumbing issues in real time, driving efficient solutions that keep production on schedule.
  • Communicate design discrepancies or documentation gaps to engineering, contributing to continuous product and process improvement.
  • Document all build steps and modifications accurately in production logs for future reference and traceability.
  • Mentor less experienced technicians during complex build phases, promoting skill development and safe practices.
  • Partner effectively with engineering, quality, and downstream teams to meet delivery commitments in a high-mix environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical/trade school strongly preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in equipment assembly or manufacturing roles involving mechanical, electrical, and fluid systems.
  • Ability to work 1st shift (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM) with overtime as needed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Proficient in stainless steel tubing and Swagelok fitting installation according to schematics.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring schematics, and fluid diagrams accurately.
  • Skilled in precision assembly, electrical terminations, and troubleshooting across mechanical and electrical domains.
  • Comfortable using common hand tools and shop equipment; basic metalworking skills (drilling, tapping) required.
  • Familiarity with software tools such as Excel and SolidWorks; ability to learn production tracking systems.
  • Experienced in documenting technical work clearly for both internal teams and quality audits.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to building high-reliability systems under minimal supervision.
