Position Type : Full timeType Of Hire : Experienced (relevant combo of work and education)Job Description FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Business Analyst II- Cloud Transformation in Jacksonville, FL to conduct various types of research and analysis to support business operations of an internal business segment, division, group or line of business. Assist the management in resolving business issues in an effective and productive manner. Design, document and re-engineer business processes and publish business metrics results. Perform analyses of the business goals, objectives and needs of the general business environment for appropriate FIS segment, division, group or line of business. Perform research and analysis to support business operations and present findings to manager or project leader. Plan and design business processes and make recommendations and changes in order to improve and support business systems and activities and to deliver greater effectiveness and efficiency. Utilize systems and data to resolve business issues in the most effective and productive manner. Identify and implement best practices and suggest how to improve current practices. Calculate and estimate costs as well as benefits of alternative actions or solutions to establish their viability and return on investment. Develop recommendations to solve problems and issues related to business operations. Analyze and document business processes and metrics and identify improvement opportunities. Train internal employees on changes to business practices, processes or procedures. Perform special projects upon request and on occasion as well as provide coaching and guidance to less experienced business analysts. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation: working with macros, nested formulas, APIs, and data visualization in Excel; creating scripts utilizing services including Optical Character Recognition in Python; pricing AZURE and AWS services, required for the creation of hosted environments including Virtual Machines, Paired Regions, Multiple Availability Zones, Connectivity, Storage Types, and Data Transfers; working with Jira Agile management tools; and following Project Management processes to identify areas of improvement when analyzing data and metrics. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree in the above listed fields and one (1) year of experience in the above listed skills.
