Full-time role at Hatchery Hill Clinic



The Facilities Technician is responsible for coordinating and performing tasks at assigned GHC-SCW sites that achieve a well-maintained, safe, and clean health care facility. Tasks include performing repair, maintenance, and minor construction duties; assisting in compliance with health and safety regulations; and overseeing the mail process of the facility. This position is under the general supervision of the Facilities Supervisor.

Job Specific Minimum Qualifications



  1. High School graduation or GED required.
  2. Minimum of one (1) year of training or experience in construction trades, maintenance or mechanical skills required.
  3. Possession and maintenance of a valid Wisconsin driver's license required. Must meet and maintain insurability standards to operate GHC-SCW owned vehicles.
  4. Ability to make trips in company-owned or employee-owned vehicle on a regular basis to various locations for work-related duties required.
  5. Working knowledge of tools and skills related to general maintenance work and an understanding of schematic and wiring drawings including building drawings required.
  6. Basic knowledge of electricity to enable performance of minor electrical repairs required.
  7. Working knowledge of painting, staining, and carpentry required.
  8. Working knowledge of office design and layout required.
  9. Basic math skills and ability to use a calculator required.
  10. Ability to work flexible hours, (i.e. early mornings, evenings and weekends) and be a member of call list required.
  11. Ability to work independently and prioritize work requests required.
  12. Ability to carry out clinic policies and government regulations required.
  13. Ability to maintain confidentiality required. Knowledge of or ability to learn HIPAA requirements.
  14. Excellent customer service skills are required. Ability to be culturally sensitive and work with a diverse population.
  15. Ability to adhere to GHC-SCW attendance, punctuality and dress code policy required.
  16. Ability to follow safety requirements in daily operations required.
  17. Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, handle, finger and feel objects on a frequent to constant basis required.
  18. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull loads ranging from 20-200 pounds on a frequent basis required.
  19. Ability to make trips in company-owned or own vehicle to various locations for work-related duties required.
  20. Ability to provide excellent customer service required.
