We are seeking a motivated IT Helpdesk Technician to provide first-level technical support to end users across a variety of systems and applications. This role will be responsible for resolving day-to-day IT issues, managing access requests, and ensuring a high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities * Provide Tier 1 IT support via phone, email, and ticketing systems to resolve user issues in a timely manner * Manage and track incidents and service requests using tools such as Jira Service Management, ServiceNow, Zendesk, or similar platforms * Perform password resets, account unlocks, and access provisioning across identity management systems and enterprise applications * Troubleshoot virtual desktop environments, including login issues, session failures, profile errors, and application access problems * Support end users with common IT issues including Microsoft Office applications, VPN connectivity, multi-factor authentication, printers, and peripheral devices * Assist with onboarding/offboarding activities, including user account setup and access configuration Qualifications * 1-2 years of experience in help desk, service desk, desktop support, or customer-facing technical support roles * Hands-on experience with an IT service management (ITSM) tool such as Jira Service Management, ServiceNow, or Zendesk * Working knowledge of Active Directory and/or cloud-based identity and access management platforms * Experience supporting virtual desktop environments and troubleshooting connectivity or access-related issues * Strong troubleshooting skills across endpoints, applications, and basic network connectivity * Excellent communication skills with a strong customer-service mindset Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Albany, NY. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
