Cytek Biosciences is seeking a highly experienced and customer-focused Senior Applications Manager to lead advanced workflow adoption across complex laboratory environments. This role will serve as a key scientific and operational partner to customers and internal stakeholders, owning successful implementation, workflow optimization, user adoption, and long-term customer success for Cytek's advanced cell analysis solutions portfolio.

The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in flow cytometry workflows with strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional influence. This individual will work closely with Sales, Field Applications, Service, Product Management, Marketing, and customer laboratory teams to drive successful deployment and operational integration of Cytek technologies within sophisticated research and regulated laboratory environments.

This role requires strong scientific credibility, strategic thinking, and the ability to shape outcomes across complex operational workflows across diverse customer settings.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as a scientific and workflow subject matter expert and mentor for advanced flow cytometry applications and laboratory operations.
  • Partner with commercial and technical teams to support customer evaluations, workflow discussions, implementation planning, and adoption strategies.
  • Lead customer-facing implementation coordination activities for advanced instruments and workflow deployments.
  • Act as a primary liaison between customer teams and Cytek cross-functional stakeholders during onboarding and operational integration.
  • Drive successful adoption and long-term utilization through workflow optimization, user enablement, and strategic guidance.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Field Applications, Technical Support, Service, Marketing, and Product Management teams to ensure aligned execution and customer success.
  • Support complex customer environments requiring coordination across multiple stakeholders, departments, and operational priorities.
  • Develop and deliver scientific presentations, workflow discussions, and educational content for internal and external audiences.
  • Serve as a primary field intelligence resource, translating customer insights into strategic recommendations that influence product roadmap, go-to-market approach, and commercial

  • Lead field readiness and enablement initiatives, serving as a senior mentor and technical resource for field applications staff
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of evolving laboratory workflow trends, operational considerations, and industry practices relevant to advanced cell analysis technologies.
  • Represent Cytek Biosciences professionally at customer sites, scientific meetings, workshops, and industry events.
  • Provide leadership and direction to a growing team of applications specialists, supporting near-term organizational expansion and building team capability in alignment with Cytek's strategic growth objectives.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Immunology, Cell Biology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related life science discipline required; advanced scientific training, post-baccalaureate professional certification, graduate degree, or equivalent laboratory leadership experience strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience supporting advanced flow cytometry workflows within high-complexity laboratory, translational research, or operationally sophisticated scientific environments.
  • Experience leading workflow implementation, process improvement, laboratory integration, or operational transition initiatives preferred.
  • Experience working within regulated, quality-driven, or large institutional laboratory environments is strongly preferred.
  • Strong scientific understanding of advanced flow cytometry principles, workflow design, and laboratory operational processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex activities across technical, operational, and customer stakeholder groups.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt effectively within dynamic customer-facing environments.
  • Self-motivated with strong professional judgment, customer focus, and ability to work independently.
  • Prior field-based scientific consulting, implementation leadership, or advanced applications experience strongly preferred.

  • Ability to travel up to 60-70%, including overnight travel
  • The individual must be able to travel via commercial airlines, trains, and rental vehicles to customer sites.
