Summary Job Description: Job Description Unit Description: 4G is a20 bedtelemetry unit. This unit specializes in post-op CABG patients, post-op cardiac surgery,CHFand moderateriskchest pain patients. The population has multiple co-morbidities and complex care. The patient population is transferred from ICU,EDand PACU. Shift:Full Time, Days Job Description: Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or other licensed care team member: Provides direct patient care and related support by performing selected nursing procedures. Performs routine duties toassistmedical and nursing personnel in the examination, treatment, and care of patients. Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required: High School Diploma or equivalent. Current Kentucky Nurse Aide Certificationrequiredor successful completion of first year of a Nursing program and validation of a clinical rotation consistent with level of education. Must provide a letter from their school verifying the completion of theirfirst yearclinicals. Basic Life Support-Applicants will have30 daysfrom their hired date to provide completion of this certification if theydon'thave it already.
