In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of the contractual/administrative requirements of the overall business. Together with Operations Managers/Supervisors, Project Managers, Service Operations Managers and satellite office leaders, holds accountability for the profitability of all service and installed related business. As an Office & Financial Services Manager, you are a part of a dynamic team that allows you to grow as Convergint grows.
This position serves as a coach/leader, balancing individual contribution with team leadership responsibilities. The Office & Financial Services Manager is expected to personally perform key operational and financial functions while leading, developing, and supporting team members to achieve departmental objectives, drive operational excellence, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Project responsibility for the implementation of installed business:
- Directly manage and execute booking packages and processes related to project kickoff while ensuring team adherence to established procedures and standards.
- Participate in pre-bid reviews and sales-to-operations turnovers as appropriate, providing guidance and support to team members throughout the process.
- Ensure contract compliance through personal oversight and by coaching team members on contractual requirements and risk mitigation.
- Actively participate in monthly and weekly operations meetings while facilitating communication, collaboration, and accountability within the team.
- Partner with project managers to improve quality of work, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction, while mentoring and supporting continuous development of project administration staff.
- Provide leadership, direction, and day-to-day support to the team, ensuring consistent execution of project-related processes and achievement of departmental goals.
Financial responsibility for business related operations:
- Personally oversee and support the accurate and timely billing of contracts while ensuring team members consistently meet billing standards and deadlines.
- Monitor and drive the profitability of installation work through direct involvement and guidance of financial operations personnel.
- Lead monthly financial reporting and close activities while reviewing team deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
- Ensure accurate and timely project costing through personal oversight and coaching of team members responsible for project financial administration.
- Monitor receivables and collaborate with operations and sales personnel to ensure timely collections, while directing team efforts to resolve outstanding issues.
- Drive achievement of EBITDA, DSO, and collection goals through active management, performance monitoring, and team accountability.
- Lead monthly and annual planning and forecasting activities while developing team capabilities in financial planning and analysis.
- Establish, monitor, and communicate key financial performance metrics, ensuring the team understands expectations and contributes to business objectives.
Legal and contract compliance responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Convergint Technologies Contracting Policy through personal diligence and by educating, coaching, and holding team members accountable for compliance requirements.
- Oversee the maintenance of customer supplier compliance sites while providing guidance and support to team members responsible for updates and administration.
- Manage the subcontractor database and Master Subcontracts while ensuring team processes are standardized, documented, and consistently followed.
- Lead, coach, and develop team members through regular feedback, training, mentoring, and performance management to ensure goals and objectives are achieved.
- Maintain current knowledge of company policies and procedures and ensure timely communication and implementation of relevant updates across the team.
- Foster a culture of professionalism, collaboration, customer service, and continuous improvement while serving as a role model for Convergint's values and behaviors.
- Promote the services offered by Convergint Technologies through professional interactions with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure the health and safety of department personnel through compliance with OH&S legislation and Convergint Safety Policy, reinforcing safe work practices and accountability within the team.
- Manage team workload, priorities, and resource allocation to support operational effectiveness and service delivery objectives.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
What You'll Need
- Strong demonstrated understanding of financial management of installation and service business sectors.
- Excellent understanding of accounting concepts and experience with accounting information systems.
- Advanced financial modeling skills.
Must be flexible and have the ability to create procedure and policy to combine the needs of the customer, colleagues and the company. - Strong ability to organize, meet strict deadlines and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage financial responsibilities across service and installed business.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Previous Management experience.

Requirements:
Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business with extensive applicable industry experience
Minimum Experience: 5+ years of operations delivery and/or management experience
- 5+ years of financial management experience
- 3+ years of supervisory experience
- A technical understanding, formal training or strong experience in the Security and Fire industry is necessary.
Preferred Experience: (but not required):
- Project Management Certification
- Business and market knowledge pertaining to Fire/Security related solutions desirable

The anticipated compensation for this position is $78,383 - $115,000 annually.
