Job Summary

The HVAC Equipment Sales Representative is responsible for driving equipment sales by developing new business opportunities and expanding existing customer relationships throughout New Hampshire. This field-based position focuses on selling HVAC systems, air conditioning equipment, oil and propane heating systems, generators, and related energy solutions. The role requires conducting customer consultations, assessing equipment needs, preparing customized proposals, and closing high-value sales while collaborating with internal support teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Job Responsibilities




  • Generate new business opportunities while growing existing customer accounts.



  • Conduct in-home and on-site sales consultations to assess customer needs.



  • Prepare and present equipment recommendations and customized sales proposals.



  • Maintain accurate customer records, sales opportunities, and pipeline activity using ServiceTitan.



  • Collaborate with service, operations, and administrative teams to ensure successful project execution.



  • Achieve or exceed annual equipment sales goals.



  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent communication and follow-up.



  • Stay informed on HVAC equipment, heating systems, generators, and related energy solutions.




Job Requirements




  • Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience in HVAC, generators, energy systems, industrial equipment, or other large-ticket equipment sales.



  • Experience using ServiceTitan is required.



  • Strong understanding of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and fuel system components.



  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.



  • Ability to effectively communicate technical solutions to residential and commercial customers.



  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.



  • Ability to work independently while managing a field-based sales territory.



  • Proficiency with CRM software and standard business applications.




Education




  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

Additional Job Details (Commute, Attendance, etc.)




  • Remote and field-based position with office access available as needed.



  • Company-provided sales leads, typically 2-4 qualified opportunities per day during peak season.



  • Dedicated administrative support for proposal preparation, customer coordination, and follow-up activities.



  • Opportunity to prepare multiple customer proposals daily during high-demand periods.



  • Daily team meetings:




    • Sales and Service Stand-Up: 8:30 AM



    • Close-Out and Preparation Call: 2:30 PM





  • Collaborative team environment with strong operational and administrative support.
