What You'll Do:
- Verify quantities, part numbers, and purchase orders for incoming and outgoing repair materials.
- Coordinate with warehouse personnel to resolve shipping and inventory discrepancies.
- Record inventory transactions in SAP and maintain accurate tracking in Excel.
- Organize, store, and distribute repair materials while maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Review repair materials to determine status and route them to the appropriate location.
- Communicate material availability and status updates with planning and engineering teams.
- Inspect materials for proper packaging, labeling, cosmetic defects, and compliance with quality standards.
- Complete inspection reports, enter data into tracking systems, and maintain a clean, organized workspace following 5S principles.
What You'll Bring:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in a warehouse environment
What Sets You Apart:
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Knowledge and experience with SAP software.
- Knowledge of Mechanical Drawings.
- Knowledge of SharePoint database.
- Experience using a pallet jack.
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be well-versed in working with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Be self-motivated, willing to learn and grow in their knowledge and skill of material inspection.
Additional Information:
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
- Ability to lift 30lbs or more needed.
- Ability to move material with a pallet jack
- Ability to physically handle packages under 30 pounds independently.
- The employee typically would spend 60% of the time sitting working on a computer and 40% of the time standing and/or physically moving material.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch.
