The work model for the role is: Onsite, Mebane, NC

Your role and responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements equipment life cycle management procedures for optimizing reliability and cost.
  • Coordinates with the team to solve major technical, equipment, or facilities problems to achieve higher performance of the production lines.
  • Carries out maintenance tasks as required.
  • Defines maintenance plans for new production lines and recommends methods to improve reliability, ongoing maintenance, and safety of equipment, in collaboration with the Engineering department.
  • Coordinates planned and scheduled maintenance of factory equipment.
  • Develops and proposes improvement projects for processes and production lines to reduce both ordinary and extraordinary maintenance.
  • Proposes and manages the annual maintenance budget.
  • Monitors the costs and effectiveness of activities to optimize resources and determines actions to cost issues as necessary.

Qualifications for the role:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Solid understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes
  • Ability to serve as a primary communication link between Production and the Moonshine shop
  • Demonstrated ability to encourage team participation in problem-solving and solution development
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills, including asking effective questions and tracking issue resolution
  • Commitment to ensuring quality standards are consistently met
  • Proven ability to identify and implement process improvement opportunities, particularly within the Moonshine area
  • Experience in improving and optimizing cart creation processes
  • Ability to gather, evaluate, and support execution of improvement ideas related to Moonshine activities
  • Knowledge of planned maintenance processes and backlog management
  • Possesses specialized technical and/or engineering skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Proficient in the use of basic tools, including tape measures, calipers, grinders, and other hand tools as needed
  • Ability to safely use ladders while performing job duties, as required
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs
