Requisition Summary

Kenworth Truck Company, a PACCAR Company, has an immediate opening for a Business Service Manager, to support our dealers and customers. You will be responsible for assisting dealer service departments with programs, policies, and procedures which develop and maintain a well-managed, profitable service department. Developing a long-term professional relationship with dealersand customersin the assigned territory will be necessary.

Up to 50% of travel can be expected. Candidates must possess a valid passport and travel by air is essential.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key dealer personnel, primarily with dealership senior management.
  • Must develop strong understanding of dealership aftersales business operation and have ability to effectively communicate with dealership, Kenworth, and PACCAR senior management.
  • Ability to communicate programs, policies, and procedures including attainment of objectivesto dealerships service department.
  • Provide recommendations for operational improvements to dealership managers which maximize and increase customer satisfaction, operational effectiveness, and service profitability.
  • Interface with PACCAR Legal as needed.
  • Process, resolve, and close customerfeedback.
  • Partner with key business stakeholders toensurealignment of goals.
  • Processing and administration of Goodwill.
  • Customer support for local and territory fleets.
  • Support internal programs (example: PremierCare Gold, Dealer Excellence, Dealer Business Review, PACCAR Fleet Services...).
  • Maintain Product Knowledge and technical aptitude.
  • Can travel to the United States of America.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

Required

  • 8+ years of related service of product and technical service knowledge; preferably heavy-duty trucks / OEM or truck components.
  • HS Diploma/GED required.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation skills, and independent judgment.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or automotive.

Additional Job Board Information

The base compensation range for this position is CAD $112,800 - CAD$176,600 and is dependent on several factors such as experience, skills, education and budget. This role is an existing vacancy and is part of our current hiring plan.
