We are seeking a dedicated and experienced pharmacist to join our inpatient team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both operational and clinical pharmacy services in a hospital setting.


Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year hospital pharmacist experience required.
  • Recent hospital experience required.
  • New Jersey State Pharmacist License required.
  • Request Time Off (RTO) required at time of submission.
  • Every other weekend (EOW) required.
  • Primarily day shift, but some evening shifts based on need/shift coverage (1500-2300, schedule is posted and communicated in advance).
  • Holidays required (1-2 based on contract length).
  • Experience with Pyxis and carousel technology preferred but not required.
  • Epic charting experience required.
  • Will accept first-time traveler.
  • Scrubs or business casual attire, any color.
  • Must be fully vaccinated, including COVID booster.
  • No floating required.


Responsibilities

  • Operational: Review, verify, and dispense medication orders; prepare sterile and hazardous medications per USP standards; manage controlled substances; complete medication histories, reconciliation, and patient education.
  • Clinical: Perform clinical interventions, monitor therapy for optimal outcomes, and provide drug information to healthcare teams and patients.
