About the College/Unit/Department
The Unified Enterprise Resource Planning ( ERP) Program intends to replace the current institutional legacy systems for human capital management, financials, and student information, improving the experience for students, faculty, and staff; streamlining core business processes; and unifying technology into a single, Software as a Service (SaaS) solution.

This is a limited term position with an initial duration of 2 to 3 years, aligned with the project's lifecycle expected to end December 2028. While employment beyond this date is contingent upon project needs and funding, there is a strong possibility this will transition to a regular position dependent on post go live project stabilization needs.

Position Summary
The Project Assistant provides administrative and organizational support to Project Managers to ensure smooth coordination and execution of the ERP project across the organization. This includes gathering and processing project information, assisting with documentation, preparing communications, tracking progress, organizing materials, and supporting project activities from initial planning through completion. This role coordinates project activities to ensure the project remains on schedule and provides administrative and logistical support such as meeting arrangement, progress tracking, and documentation.
This position has a limited term appointment which is expected to end December 2028. The position may be extended beyond the initial term, contingent upon continued funding.

  • Support project managers with tasks needed to manage ongoing projects and requests.
  • Assist with planning, scheduling, budgeting support, and project tracking.
  • Help maintain project documentation from initiation through closeout.
  • Document meetings by taking notes and preparing minutes.
  • Assist in reviewing proposals and service information.
  • Maintain organized records for projects at various stages.
  • Schedule meetings and organize calendar invites.
  • Communicate with internal departments and external partners as needed.
