Overview Milliman's Indianapolis Health practice is looking for a Healthcare Policy Consultant with substantial expertise in Medicaid regulatory policy and/or program design, including project scoping, project team management, and the ability to communicate project results with key stakeholders, to join our healthcare policy consulting team. The successful candidate will have expertise in Medicaid program administration or experience working with Medicaid or other state health and human services agencies, in addition to, a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and programs. Potential areas of expertise should include one or more of the following: Medicaid, child welfare, behavioral health, aging and disabilities, long term services and supports, other related human services programs, Medicare Advantage and Special Needs Plans, or other health care subject matter. The Team The Indianapolis Health Practice is strategically structured to serve state Medicaid agencies and other health and human services agencies. The policy team provides strategy and program design support for our state agency clients, in close collaboration with professionals from other teams to best serve each of our clients' unique needs. You will work in a matrix environment, learning from seasoned consultants and gaining exposure to projects across a range of states and agency types. As a member of this team, you will observe how we provide comprehensive consulting services which span from many different disciplines and backgrounds including actuarial, policy, finance, pharmacy, and data management, all working together for a common goal to best serve our clients' needs. Location This is a remote position. Candidates hired into this role may work onsite in select Milliman office locations, if they prefer.
