Description Job Title: SMT Programmer/Technician Location: Irvine CA Employment Type: Direct hire with benefits Compensation: $30/hr. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM Acara Solutions is seeking an experienced SMT Technician to support our client's manufacturing operations in Irvine, CA. Program and maintain SMT equipment, including Fuji (Nexim/Flex), AOI systems, and reflow ovens. Create and modify pick-and-place programs, component profiles, and AOI inspection programs. Develop and maintain reflow oven profiles and SMT assembly documentation. Maintain stencil inventory and production consumables (solder paste, adhesives, gloves, wipes). Troubleshoot SMT equipment and provide technical support to production operators. Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Design, and Management to support manufacturing goals. Job Requirements What You'll Bring: High school diploma or GED. 3 years minimum experience programming, maintaining, and troubleshooting SMT equipment. What Sets You Apart: Hands-on experience with Fuji Nexim or Flex programming. Experience with AOI programming. Ability to read and interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs) and assembly drawings. Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of IPC-A-610 Class 3 workmanship standards. Experience building or supporting manufacturing assembly fixtures.
