SUMMARY: The Compliance Analyst will assist the Vice President, Legal and Regulatory Affairs in the administration of the consumer compliance, BSA/AML/OFAC, Fair Lending, complaints, training, change management, and CRA programs, including assisting with testing, drafting procedures, risk assessments, and reports for management, the Board, and regulators. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with Compliance Management, including compliance testing, action item tracking, Fair Lending analysis, customer complaint tracking, and compliance training. Prepare final reports. Draft and maintain current Compliance Department procedures and maintain Compliance Department files. Assist in all aspects of BSA Compliance, including but not limited to identifying, reviewing, and/or reporting cash transactions when necessary. Identify, recommend, and report suspicious activity, including conducting any investigation, as needed. Review and process Customer Due Diligence, Beneficial Ownership, and Enhanced Due Diligence processes, and document findings appropriately. Aid in the annual BSA Risk Assessment process. Aid in the collection of information with respect to various compliance risk assessments and policy reviews, such as consumer compliance, identity theft prevention, privacy, fair lending, etc., and prepare the risk assessments for review and approval. Assist with loan data programs such as HMDA, CRA, and Small Business Lending. Scrub loan data for appropriate government reporting; accurately report loan data to the appropriate regulator. For CRA, obtain and track bank charitable donations and investments, and obtain and track bank and staff's community activities. Assist with information gathering for the annual CRA Public Statement. Assist in product, services, and systems change management, which includes identifying regulatory risk, making recommendations to mitigate risk, and preparing final reports. Keep current with emerging compliance trends and issues, including proposed or newly finalized laws, regulations, or guidance. Recommend enhancements to policies and procedures. *Other duties may be assigned. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A 4-year degree preferred or a 2-year degree with 2-3 years' experience in banking or a financial-related field. Proficient knowledge of BSA and consumer compliance requirements. Familiarity with bank systems and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong interpersonal relationship skills and the demonstration of effective listening and communication abilities are highly recommended.
