Lippert is excited to announce we will be relocating our RANCH HAND Shiner and Beeville, TX locations to Seguin, TX! This role will initially be based in Shiner, TX with a targeted relocation date of September 2026. Travel assistance will be available to Team Members if needed!

Tool Crib Attendant

Our Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for receiving, organizing, securing, and issuing spare parts, tools, supplies, and consumables used within the manufacturing facility. This position ensures inventory is accurately maintained, materials are readily available when needed, and the tool crib remains organized, secure, and efficient. They support maintenance and production operations through effective inventory control and distribution of parts and supplies.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory control and efficient distribution of tools, parts, supplies, and consumables to support manufacturing and maintenance operations.
  • Receive incoming spare parts, tools, and supplies.
  • Verify shipments against purchase orders and packing slips for accuracy and completeness.
  • Label, stock, organize, and store inventory within the tool crib and related storage locations.
  • Issue and track tools, parts, and supplies to authorized personnel.
  • Verify and document inventory transactions, including check-outs, returns, transfers, and adjustments.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within the company inventory management system.
  • Conduct routine cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify leadership of low-stock, critical, or obsolete items.
  • Assist with inventory audits and reconciliation activities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and efficient tool crib environment.
  • Ensure tool crib security and restrict access to authorized personnel only.
  • Support maintenance and production teams by ensuring materials are readily available when needed.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory management and material flow.
  • Support cross-functional activities with Ranch Hand and sister-brand operations as needed.
  • Participate in safety programs and maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, tool crib management, or manufacturing support.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience using an ERP or inventory management system.

Preferred

  • Basic understanding of maintenance parts, industrial supplies, and tooling.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse, inventory, or tool crib environment.
  • Automotive OEM supplier or aftermarket industry experience.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance:

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
