Essential Job Duties
As an HR Generalist within Campus Enterprises, you will be a cornerstone of our Human Resources team, delivering exceptional guidance and support to supervisors and employees alike. Reporting directly to our Assistant HR Manager and partnering with leaders across the division, you will help us build a thriving workplace.
In this role, you will champion the employee lifecycle for your designated units, ensuring our teams have the support they need from day one. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding


  • Lead the Charge in Recruitment: Take the lead on recruiting for SHRA, EPS and temporary roles. This includes organizing dynamic job fairs, building strong relationships with community partners, and crafting compelling job postings.

  • Be the Go-To Guide: Serve as the primary point of contact and process employment requests for our student, temporary, SHRA and EPS employees.

  • Build the Team efficiently: Ensure Campus Enterprises' staffing needs are met quickly and efficiently, including championing a smooth and timely background check process.



Collaboration & Compliance


  • Partner with Hiring Managers: Serve on selection committees and advise hiring managers to ensure all recruitment aligns with federal, state, and university policies.

  • Connect with University HR: Collaborate closely with the broader University HR team to align on best practices and procedures.

  • Empower Others: Identify training opportunities, recommend new procedures, and help develop and deliver engaging training sessions for supervisors.


HR Operations & Analytics


  • Keep Data Accurate: Handle essential data entry in the HRIM system with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Support Payroll & Leave: Keep our operations running smoothly by reviewing bi-weekly and monthly payrolls, assisting supervisors with time corrections in the WolfTime system, and supporting leave administration (including FMLA, PPL, and Worker's Compensation).

Other Responsibilities

  • Model the Division's mission and values, introduce the Division's mission and values to employees, and foster a positive, cohesive workplace and congeniality among co-workers.
  • Understand the goals and culture of the organization, and understand how employees' work activities, teamwork, and customer service impact clients. Work with your supervisor and colleagues to understand these goals and the culture.
  • Adhere to all University policies, procedures, and regulations, and Division standard operating practices and protocols.
  • May serve on division or university committees, including search committees.
  • Assist with various HR related projects/assignments/tasks. Perform other duties as assigned to ensure Human Resources business needs are met.

Qualifications




Minimum Experience/Education
Bachelor's degree; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in human resources.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
