Job Responsibilities:

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for increasing the revenue potential of the Sales Enablement team by executing, measuring, and reporting on marketing initiatives for ADA Store, ADA Continuing Education, ADA Seal and ADA members insurance. This includes marketing to industry partners as well as individual practices. This role handles key stages of promotional campaigns to streamline team workflows, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.

The Marketing Specialist also develops select promotions from concept through execution, monitoring progress toward short- and long-term goals to increase team productivity and helping ensure divisional goals are met or exceeded. Duties include:



  • Schedule and coordinate promotions planned by marketing managers, such as emails, mailers, ads, articles, and social media campaigns
  • Monitor performance of emails and share results with the team; may occasionally lay out and deploy select emails in HubSpot or other system to support digital manager
  • Coordinate tradeshow booths and other sales activities - create flyers, signs, slide decks and other collateral, compile and ship materials
  • Ensure high quality communications by proofreading promo content and reviewing images
  • Maintain team's asset library of text, photo and video content
  • Track and report marketing expenses, create summary reports of select sales data


Must Have:



  • Bachelor's degree or experience in lieu of degree
  • 3 years of experience setting and following deadlines, planning and advancing projects, setting up meetings and emailing professionally with groups, and collaborating within a team; 7 years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Some experience working on marketing promotions and/or sales collateral
  • Some experience with print or digital marketing practices, basic graphic and web design, or email production


  • Excellent written and verbal communication, project management, listening, facilitation, prioritization, collaboration, and critical thinking skills
  • Must be a self-starter and results-focused
  • Intermediate experience in Microsoft Word and Excel, basic experience in PowerPoint
  • Travel once per year for 1-3 nights to dental tradeshows
  • Position may occasionally require before or after-hours work


Nice to Have:



  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, English or similar field
  • Experience in/with strategic multichannel marketing
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, or a similar marketing automation platform
  • Understanding of print production and mail
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM system or large database
