340B Pharmacy Program Analyst

Full Time I 1st Shift

Hospital Pharmacy I Corbin, KY

The 340b Program Analyst performs the 340B administrator duties by evaluating the appropriateness of 340b purchases and dispensations in the retail and hospital pharmacies. The Administrator evaluates 340b purchases and dispensations with any contract pharmacy(ies) active. The Administrator gathers data for routine meetings with pharmacy leadership, finance, and the local compliance officer.

The pharmacy department works to achieve optimal medication use and patient outcomes in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. Pharmacy is responsible for the storage, preparation (including sterile compounding), distribution, and dispensing of medications 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Pharmacy utilizes automated dispensing cabinets and barcoding to enhance patient safety and operational efficiency. Inpatient pharmacy clinical services involve pharmacists working directly with healthcare teams to optimize patient drug therapy by providing drug information and therapeutic monitoring.

Description:

  • Maintains and administers 340B split-billing software.

  • Ensures the 340B pharmacy program remains continuously compliant with federal 340B regulations.

  • Develops, executes, documents, and evaluates self-audits of the 340B program. Coordinates and ensures remediation of identified findings.

  • Responsible for managing and troubleshooting pharmacy billing issues while ensuring appropriate system controls are in place to prevent future discrepancies.

  • Assesses opportunities for cost savings and process improvements to enhance program compliance and operational efficiency.

  • Maintains a continuous state of audit readiness.

Requirements:

  • Nationally certified as a pharmacy technician preferred.

  • Experience in 340b compliance standards preferred.

  • Knowledge of 340b split billing software(s) preferred.

  • Experience with Excel preferred.

  • Analytics background highly preferred.

  • Pharmaceutical buyer experience preferred
