  • Hillcrest Hospital South, a full-service 180-bed facility located in south Tulsa, offers a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient services utilizing cutting-edge technology in a welcoming community environment.   • This role leads a 24-bed Women's & Infant Services unit overseeing postpartum, GYN, and lactation services, with responsibility for approximately 50 team members.

The nurse manager will promote the mission and values of the organization and be an active advocate of providing quality patient care, excellent customer service and efficient health care. As a member of the management team, the nurse manager will be involved in system planning, budgeting, manpower planning and program development in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care.

  • Lead daily patient rounding, service recovery efforts, and continuous improvement of patient experience metrics (including HCAHPS) to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Monitor and drive unit performance through quality, safety, and operational metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing action plans across postpartum, GYN, and lactation services

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in Nursing from an accredited school required or enrolled in accredited BSN program with scheduled date of completion
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
  • NRP/PALS must be obtained with 6 months of hire
  • Current RN license or current license deemed acceptable by the applicable State Board of Nursing

Preferred Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in postpartum, labor & delivery, NICU, or women's services
  • Prior leadership experience such as Charge Nurse, Clinical Coordinator, Assistant Nurse Manager, or similar role
  • Specialty certification preferred, such as Maternal Newborn Nursing (NCC) or other relevant women's health certifications (e.g., RNC, EFM)
