JOB SUMMARY IWL is a national hub funded by the U.S. Department of Labor's Apprenticeship Builds America grant (ABA2)to champion the expansion of Registered Apprenticeship Programs (RAPs). IWL's Apprenticeships Programshelps employers hire and train new or existing employees in thehuman servicesor care economy workforce.NIWL offers four nationally recognized RAPs: Behavioral Community Health Worker, Peer Support Specialist, Substance Use Disorder and Mental Health Counselor, and Youth Development Practitioner. Each RAPprovidesworkers an opportunity to build their skillsets in a rewarding career path while also meeting critical workforce needs. The Apprenticeship Outreach & Engagement Specialist will lead and execute outreach and recruitment strategies to expand employer partnerships and increase enrollment in RAPs and participation in pre-apprenticeship programs. This role will drive engagement with employers, workforce partners, and community organizations to support the growth and scale of apprenticeship programs under FHI 360 initiatives, including ABA2. Reporting tothe Apprenticeships Project Directorand working collaboratively withFHI 360 staff implementing the initiative, the position plays a key role in achieving program targets by building pipelines of employer partners and supporting recruitment and registration of apprentices through coordinated outreach, events, and partnership development. This role will have the opportunity to shape and scale national apprenticeship programs working at the intersection of workforce development, employer engagement, and contribute to expanding career pathways in high-demand sectors. The expected US Based hiring salary range for this role is listed below. Candidates FHI 360 pay ranges represent national averages that vary by geographic location. When determining an offer amount, FHI 360 factors in multiple considerations, including but not limited to: relevant years of experience and education possessed by the applicant, internal equity, business sector, and budget. For internal candidates, salary placement will also follow FHI 360's current promotional increase guidelines. Base salary is only one component of our offer. FHI 360 contributes 7% of monthly base pay to a money purchase pension plan account. Additionally, all US based staff working full-time, which is calculated at 40 hours/week, receive 18 days of paid vacation per year, 12 sick days per year, and 11 holidays per year. Paid time off is reduced pro rata for employees working less than a full-time schedule.
