Job Overview:

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Quality Technician II to join our NASH team in Bentleyville, PA. The Quality Technician II performs a variety of tests to ensure units function according to specifications or to determine cause of unit failure, using test instruments: Reads test schedule, work orders, test manuals, performance specifications, and schematics to determine testing procedure and equipment to be used. Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections per applicable prints and specifications.

Responsibilities:

Documentation:
Develops and trains others in documentation of the Company's quality management system to satisfy the standards of ISO-9001.


  • Inspections:
    Works with the production and engineering staff to support any receiving or in-processes inspections and perform final inspection activities.


  • Trainings:
    Conducts and oversees the training of all company personnel in the quality documents along with the activities associated with those documents; ensures training records are generated and stored in accordance with procedures


  • Customer Issues:
    Resolution and disposition of quality issues raised by customers and suppliers.


  • Quality Activities:
    Administers all document control activities associated with the quality system including, but not limited to, the Quality Manual, Quality Procedures, Work Instructions, Non- Conformances, Inspection Reports, etc.




ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBLITIES:


  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and supplier quality teams

  • Control calibration equipment and support management of all device databases

  • Assist with internal/supplier audits associated with the quality system.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned or required.



Requirements:


  • 2 years' experience (minimum) in a manufacturing environment

  • Minimum of 3 years of direct quality inspection experience

  • Strong proficiency with standard inspection tools and equipment

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

  • MRP system experience (SAP Preferred)

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)

  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented

  • Ability to work independently with little supervision

  • Collaborative with engineering, production, and supplier quality teams



Core Competencies:


  • Experience with fabrication, weld inspection, and NDE methods

  • Salesforce Experience

  • Experience with portable CMM equipment

  • Steel Mill or Foundry experience / background

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Technical school or secondary education in a company-related field preferred (machining, measurement, analysis, laboratory work, casting/foundry) preferred



Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:

This role will be on site in Bentleyville, PA.
