Game Lands Maintenance Worker 1

The Pennsylvania Game Commission is seeking a hardworking, outdoor-driven Game Lands Maintenance Worker 1 to help build, maintain, and enhance Pennsylvania's game lands and wildlife habitats. Int this role, you will operate heavy equipment, construct and repair infrastructure, manage habitat projects, assist with prescribed fires, and work across forests, fields, and rugged terrain to support healthy ecosystems and public access. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
• Alternate Work Schedule may apply.
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• One year of laboring experience using construction tools and equipment; or
• One year of farming experience using agricultural tools and equipment; or
• One year of construction equipment operation experience; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.

• This position requires possession of an active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent.
• This position requires the selected candidate to obtain an active Class A Commercial Driver's License within one year of employment in this job.

Additional Requirement:
