Storekeeper II Store & Receiving - Facilities & Service Job SummaryFills orders by selecting, packing, stocking and staging material. Stock shelves and cages with the appropriate material upon their receipt to include but not limited to wood, sheet metal, and gases. Receives material in Aim, and Banner as required. Responsible for UPS ship outs of material and product returns for the PPSB and central storeroom. Provide leadership and demonstrate expertise for two or more functional areas. Functional areas are defined as: receiving, counters, pick and packing, returns, issuing stock, stocking shelves, and loading and unloading. Duties & Responsibilities
Physical Demands and Working ConditionsA.Physical Requirements 1. Be able to lift over 50lbs, organize and place these items in storage for later use. 2. Be able to spend a large part of the workday on their feet on concrete floors. 3. On awkward or heavy items, they should not try to lift or move too much without the help of a fellow employee, forklift, hoist, or dollies. B.Work Environment The employee should have no trouble with the environment, unless they try to lift to much or they do not follow the common safety rules for the job. Minimum Qualifications 1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. One (1) year (12 months) of work experience comparable to that 1.Manual/power pallet jacks.
Appointment Information This is a 100% full-time Civil Service 3318 - Storekeeper II position, appointed on a 12-month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible after 7/7/2026. The hourly rate for this position is $26.03/hr. This position is not eligible for any type of sponsorship for work authorization.
