Diesel Technician Truck Mechanic

What are the Duties?

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• 5+ years relevant Truck Mechanic experience Required
• Experienced Truck Mechanic with ENGINE REPAIR experience Required
• Potential Mobile service job duties
• Service and repair work, drive train, engine, steering, electrical, suspension and brakes
• Troubleshooting, Inspections, & Diagnostics
• Preventative Maintenance
• Computer skills and good verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work independently and assist others as needed
• The ability to adjust to changing priorities is essential

PHYSICAL and SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:

• While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit.
• The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms.
• The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance.
• The associate must be able to read and write reports.
• Implement and enforce Health and Safety legislations, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

• Must be able to obtain DOT medcard
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the last 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years (ie., DUI/DWI). Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
