IT Help Desk Technician

We are seeking a technical support professional to join a collaborative team where your expertise will directly ensure the reliable operation of critical systems across both office and production areas. In this vital role, you will be the primary technical resource, directly contributing to improving data accuracy, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and keeping essential technology running smoothly, impacting the efficiency and success of the entire organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize computers, peripherals, printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
• Provide day-to-day support for desktop operating systems, productivity suite applications, and production-related technology.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
• Configure and maintain antivirus and endpoint security solutions.
• Support user account management, permissions, group policies, and password management within directory services.
• Maintain IT asset inventory, including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and related equipment.
• Support wireless networking, third-party applications, and mobile device management.
• Manage support tickets and ensure timely response and resolution.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures.
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including account creation, equipment setup, asset recovery, and license management.
• Assist with enterprise resource planning system implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Support data entry accuracy and system integrity across production and business processes.
• Help track, analyze, and report operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Work with production teams to identify and resolve technology-related issues affecting operations.
• Provide administrative and technical support to Operations as needed.
• Collaborate with departments to improve efficiency through technology and process improvements.

Must-Have Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of Help Desk, Desktop Support, or Technical Support experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with desktop operating systems and productivity suite applications.
• Experience using spreadsheet applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Successful completion of background check and drug screening.
