Widener University is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant/Financial Analyst to play a pivotal role in advancing the University's financial integrity and operational excellence. This position is central to ensuring accurate, timely, and transparent financial reporting that supports strategic decision-making at all levels of leadership. As a trusted partner within the Division of Administration and Finance, the Senior Accountant/Financial Analyst will not only manage core accounting functions but also drive process improvements, enhance compliance, and deliver insightful financial analysis. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, a commitment to continuous improvement, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments such as Advancement, Bursar, Human Resources, and Financial Aid. This is an opportunity to contribute to the University's mission by strengthening financial stewardship, optimizing reporting systems, and providing actionable recommendations that shape the institution's fiscal health and long-term sustainability.
