As a Security Officer - Access Control in McCarran, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry activity, screen visitors and team members, and support access procedures with professionalism and care. You will remain visible, conduct routine observations, and provide clear communication and customer service that help support a secure, people-first environment. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Screen employees, visitors, drivers, packages, and/or outbound or inbound items in accordance with post orders and facility requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting them to site contacts as needed.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location, dock areas, and/or restricted operational spaces.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, operational issues, and/or security-related policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
