Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Monitor and control access at designated entrances and restricted areas by checking identification, credentials, and/or visitor authorization in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with managing visitor entry processes, directing foot traffic, and communicating access requirements to help support orderly operations throughout the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
