Production Worker Requirements

Job Duties



  • Review shop orders and follow special customer requirements, including mat dimensions and packaging instructions.
  • Inspect mats throughout the trimming process to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Operate trimming equipment to remove excess rubber from mat borders accurately and efficiently.
  • Measure border width and thickness using precision gauges to verify product specifications.
  • Pull mats from conveyors and place them on carts or trimming tables for processing.
  • Identify, separate, and document defective, rejected, or scrap materials according to established procedures.
  • Record production and quality data accurately in trimming logs.
  • Communicate product quality concerns and manufacturing issues promptly to line leadership.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support production operations.
