Our client, located in Aiken, SC is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead financial reporting, accounting operations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. This is a direct-hire, career opportunity for a strategic finance professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys partnering with leadership to drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead the month-end close process, including financial reporting, analysis, quarterly forecasts, annual profit reviews, and ongoing business performance reviews.
  • Maintain and continuously improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including fixed assets, physical inventory, and cycle count processes.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Develop and monitor key financial and operational performance metrics.
  • Recommend benchmarks and performance indicators to evaluate business operations.
  • Prepare ad hoc financial reports and support internal and external audits, compliance activities, and internal controls.
  • Manage the annual budgeting and forecasting process, analyze budget variances, and communicate key financial insights to leadership.
  • Provide financial analysis and decision support for capital investments, pricing strategies, and new product initiatives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve financial performance and support strategic business objectives.


What You'll Bring:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business - Master's degree a Plus!
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and financial modeling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience working with ERP systems in a manufacturing organization.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to identify trends, uncover root causes, and provide actionable business recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
