Now hiring for a Pack Operator Location: Valdosta, GA Pay Rate: $23.75 per hour Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (7 AM-7 PM + 7 PM-7 AM) \| 2-3-2 rotating schedule Alternate between day and night shifts every two weeks \| Includes weekend work as part of the rotation Strong Work. Pack Operator Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required Pack Operator Experience Requirements Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing, production, or packaging experience preferred. Experience operating production or packaging equipment is a plus. Strong attention to detail and quality inspection skills. Basic computer skills for production documentation. Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Commitment to safety and quality standards. Pack Operator Job Duties Inspect finished products for visual and physical defects. Operate, monitor, and adjust packaging equipment. Set up machines for product changeovers. Arrange, package, and palletize finished products. Load packaging materials, including bags, strapping, and stretch wrap. Perform rework, re-bagging, and scrap removal as needed. Assist with machine startups, shutdowns, changeovers, and routine cleaning. Complete production documentation and report quality or equipment concerns. Follow all safety, housekeeping, and quality procedures. Perform other assigned duties as needed. Pack Operator Physical Capabilities Stand and walk for extended periods. Lift, move, and handle production materials throughout the shift. Bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive tasks. Perform detailed visual inspections of finished products.
