Locations: Lincoln & Beatrice, NE

Position Type: Full-Time, Salaried (Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM with on-call availability)

As a Direct Support Manager at Mosaic, you will lead day services in both Lincoln and Beatrice, along with a small caseload of in-home supports. You will spend your days on the floor actively engaging with our team and the people we serve, blending skill development with everyday fun.

What You'll Do



  • Build Culture & Lead Teams: Provide coaching, mentorship, and daily supervision to Direct Support Professionals across our Lincoln and Beatrice sites. You will play a pivotal role in strengthening team communication, fostering trust, and creating an inclusive environment where everyone moves toward the same goals.
  • Guide Person-Centered Care: Facilitate, develop, and write Person-Centered Plans (PCPs) that ensure the individuals we serve are empowered to achieve their personal goals while meeting all state regulatory standards.
  • Connect with the Community: Take ownership of department partnerships by finding and developing local volunteer and activity opportunities for individuals in our programs.
  • Coordinate Operations: Manage daily schedules, maintain accurate electronic records, monitor safety compliance, and maintain petty cash and program supplies.
  • Support After-Hours Needs: Serve on an on-call basis to guide and assist staff during emergencies or off-hour operational questions.



Key Skills for Success:



  • Compassion and care for the people we serve and the staff who support them.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills for coordinating with guardians, parents, service coordinators, and leadership.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate complex situations and regulatory guidelines.
  • Experience with electronic documentation tools (Therap experience is a plus!).
  • CPR Instructor certification is a plus!

What We're Looking For



  • Education & Experience: A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field, plus at least 3 years of related work experience with 1 year of supervisory experience. (Note: 7 years of direct industry experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.)
  • Background: Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Licensure: Valid driver's license, current vehicle registration, and active auto insurance.
  • Certifications: Med Aide (20-hour) certification, CPR and First Aid certifications are required (or ability to obtain upon hire).
