Packages parts for stock and/or shipment. Closes out work orders as needed. Maintains stockroom. Prepares parts for shipment; i.e. Pull items from daily lists, validate counts, assemble wooden and cardboard boxes. Insert parts into shipping containers with the proper paperwork and proper labels. Maintains and executes daily cycle counts in finished goods warehouse. Maintains a clean work area/environment (6s). Operates hand-truck to move parts to stock and distribute items as needed. Performs other duties and assignments as directed. Required Skills and Qualifications Ability to operate a hand truck to move parts Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mylars (preferred). Read and understand internal procedures and policies. Understand and follow through on both verbal and written instructions Team oriented with a continuous improvement outlook. Required Experience and Education H.S. Diploma or GED Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Business Minimum 5-7 years progressive experience in quality management with supervisory experience, including military, where applicable, and commercial customers High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience Basic math skills Basic Computer Skills - able to learn new screens, reports, functions and simple software programs with assistance Must be detail oriented Must be accurate Must be action oriented This is a generic job posting for a Part Marker.
