Job Description:

Supervise the preparation and cooking of meals and caterings. Assume responsibility for kitchen productivity and production staff in absence of the Director of Food and Nutrition. Assist with labor and resources in order to provide nutritious meals to patients and guests. Serve as the local site expert on quality control, food preparation, and food safety. Ensure the local culinary team is adhering to the Baptist Health brand Culinary Standards, within an established budget. Facilitate the selection, training, and skill development of all culinary staff.

Requirements/Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Minimum two years of experience in food preparation, employee relations, food sanitation, safety, labor laws, housekeeping procedures, principles of nutrition and principles of management.
