Mission Statement The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church. Its message is based on the Bible. Position Summary Responsible for driving/picking up donations, sorting and properly storing donations, and providing initial contact to clients seeking help, whether by phone or in person. Position includes providing basic material assistance to clients and information referrals, as needed. The Driver/Warehouse Worker participates in all regular and special weekly food distributions and services. The worker will assist with accurately recording service data and inputting information into Salvation Army software including, but not limited to, WellSky. General office work and assisting in other matters relating to the Family Services operations. Essential Functions
Working Conditions Ability to walk, stand, bend squat climb, kneel and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis. Ability to be able to lift up to 75lbs. Ability to grasp, push, and pull objects such as file cabinet drawers and reach overhead. Ability to operate computer, fax and telephone. Ability to learn new software. Minimum Qualifications
