NV5 is seeking a Junior Survey Crew Chief to join our growing Geomatics team in Meridian, Idaho. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced survey professional ready to take the next step into a field leadership role while working alongside experienced surveyors, engineers, and geospatial professionals throughout the Pacific Northwest. This position is primarily field-based and involves leading small survey crews in support of boundary, topographic, construction, right-of-way, and control surveys. The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, safety-focused, and committed to delivering high-quality work. WHY NV5? Physical Requirements The physical demands described below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. This position regularly requires walking on uneven terrain, hiking steep slopes, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds of equipment, digging monument holes, setting stakes and rebar, operating brush-cutting equipment, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. The role may also require operation of UTVs, climbing stairs, prolonged standing, and occasional extended periods of computer work.
