Key Responsibilities Maintenance Planning Coordinates maintenance activities for distributed generation equipment. Provides guidance and subject matter expertise to others. Develops and implements maintenance schedule. Collaborate with customers to ensure maintenance activities occur in a timely manner. Maintenance Activities Responds to customer calls regarding maintenance and prioritizes maintenance activities. Coordinates or performs preventative and emergency maintenance. Conducts site visits to evaluate risks and mitigates. Collaborates with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure compliance with environmental, safety and other laws and regulations. Documentation Maintains maintenance documentation in accordance with standards, regulations and procedures. Customer Support Responds to customer concerns. Provides technical advice to customers on distributed generation equipment maintenance. Collaborate with other departments or vendors to resolve issues. Documentation and Billing Writes purchase orders and maintain billing records. Maintains records of maintenance activities and billing. Vendor Management Selects vendors and monitors vendor performance. Establishes vendor contracts, manages vendor bills and negotiates and troubleshoots issues with vendors. Education / Experience Education Requires a bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., an associate degree in diesel mechanics plus additional practical experience).
