Position Title: Senior Project Manager - Civil Engineering Location: Summerville, SC (or specify) Employment Type: Full-time Seniority Level: Senior / Subject Matter Expert About the Role CEMS is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager with a strong background in Civil Engineering. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading medium to large multidisciplinary projects, serving as a technical expert, overseeing project teams, and coordinating with clients. This role emphasizes delivery excellence throughout all stages of project execution. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and management to civil engineering project teams during planning, design, and execution phases. Apply sound judgment in planning, negotiating, and guiding projects to successful completion. Represent CEMS at client meetings, conferences, and industry events. Maintain quality control, ensure contract compliance, and deliver projects within scope and schedule requirements. Minimum Qualifications Engineering bachelor's degree required. Must hold a Professional Engineering (PE) registration. At least 10 years of experience in civil engineering design and project management. Proven experience managing projects. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities. Desired Qualifications: Experience managing projects for the Department of Defense (DoD) and other federal agencies. LEED AP BD+C and PMP certifications. Prefer 15 years of experience in civil engineering design and project management.
