Careers Regional Traffic Analysis leader and QA/QC Manager St. Louis, Missouri Garver is seeking a highly-motivated Regional Traffic Analysis leader and QA/QC Managerinour St. Louis, MOofficeto add to our growing traffic and transportation planning team. Our Transportation Planning and Traffic Team is a growing and collaborative group offering our regional clients full-service transportation planning and traffic design capabilities. This position will have the opportunity to make a daily impact on Garver's projects by being involved in a variety of project-types with diverse clients and working collaboratively with internal project teams, to expand our transportation planning and traffic services. The ideal candidate would have 15+years of related experience, a sharp technical background, and strong passion for the profession. The position will offer the candidate an opportunity to play a key role in analyzing and designing exciting projects for our DOT and municipal clients across our client footprint. Applicants must have excellent communication skills with a commitment to becoming a key member of this highly productive design team. This position will be supervised by a Senior Project Manager and offers outstanding growth opportunity and career advancement to the right individual. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following: Performing and reviewing traffic studies, simulation and level of service analysis Reviewing all elements of traffic engineering deliverables (studies, traffic design, ITS) for clients across our footprint Coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams and communicating concepts to clients Additional duties include: Assisting with project management to identify project scopes, fees, and monitoring project progress. Maintaining a client-focused, service attitude by tracking budgets, and keeping projects on schedule. Preparing project proposals and giving interviews for project pursuits Performing direct client marketing and developing relationships with existing clients within our service area Mentoring less experienced staff Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree for an ABET accredited engineering program 15+ years of experience with traffic specific projects Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) or have ability to obtain within 6 months of hire Working knowledge of traffic simulation programs (VISSIM, CORSIM, etc.), Synchro, and HCS is required Experience in analyzing intersections, interchanges, and roundabouts Experience reviewing traffic design (Signals, Signing, Lighting) and ITS elements Proficient in Microsoft Office Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in civil engineering Experience in marketing and managing local government projects Experience working with MODOT and municipalities in Missouri Experience working with large teams in multiple locations Experience supervising and managing team members as well as mentoring less experienced staff Knowledge and experience of developing a new business and relationships is a plus Certification as a PTOEand/or RSP Grow With Us Garver offers its employees programs such as company-paid professional memberships, company support for industry licenses and continuing education opportunities that foster a progressive atmosphere.
