AMSOIL INC. Is hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist.


The Talent Acquisition Specialist executes proactive full-cycle recruitment activity, builds diverse talent pipelines, cultivates relationships while leveraging market intelligence and sourcing best practices. The Talent Acquisition Specialist delivers exceptional candidate experience to attract, engage, and hire high-quality talent aligned with the organization's current and future business objectives. In addition, this position will lead onboarding and orientation for new hires that align with AMSOIL's mission, values, and strategies. .

Beyond hiring, the Talent Acquisition Specialist serves as a key ambassador of the AMSOIL brand, delivering an exceptional candidate experience and facilitating onboarding and orientation programs that connect new employees to the company's mission, values, and culture. Through data-driven recruiting strategies, compliance expertise, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion, this position directly contributes to building a strong, engaged, and high-performing workforce.



Scheduled hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm


What you will own:



Manage the full life cycle of talent acquisition activities:



  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company policies throughout the talent acquisition, selection, hiring, and onboarding processes while promoting a consistent and positive candidate experience.


  • Assist in developing and executing sourcing strategies for operational, professional, and leadership positions, leveraging job boards, social media, talent communities, professional networks, and other recruiting channels.


  • Assess candidate qualifications, experience, skills, career interests, and overall fit to identify talent aligned with current and future organizational needs.


  • Partner with hiring managers to develop selection criteria, create structured interview guides, conduct candidate screenings, and coordinate the interview and selection process.


  • Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates by communicating role expectations, career opportunities, compensation and benefits, organizational culture, and employment requirements.


  • Design, coordinate and facilitate the pre-employment, onboarding, the new hire orientation processes, and ensuring completion of all required documentation.


Identify and implement innovative talent acquisition strategies:



  • Develop ongoing, effective relationships with internal and external sources that will result in increased qualified candidates.


  • Coordinate with hiring managers to create web page content, job fair materials, employee communications, and social media pages and implement recruitment campaigns.


  • Participate in job fairs and recruitment events.


  • Discover networking opportunities within associations, community organizations, advocacy groups, vocational/technical schools, colleges, and universities and build and foster relationships.


  • Create and present presentations to schools and outside organizations about working at AMSOIL.


Affirmative Action Plan Compliance and Preparation:



  • Coach, counsel, and train managers on various AA/EEO items as needed.


  • Work closely with management on all diversity initiatives involving talent acquisition to ensure fairness in hiring practices.


  • Annually compile all information needed to prepare Company's Affirmative Action Plan and work with consultant to complete Plan.


Provide analytics, reports, and insight to management as requested:



  • Compile reports and present data on open positions' status, roadblocks in staffing efforts, hiring manager accountability, etc.


  • Analyze company policies and procedures regarding Talent Acquisition and develop documentation regarding policy implementation and administration.



What you bring:


Minimum Qualifications:


Education and Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.


  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition.


  • Proven expertise in leveraging social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, X, Facebook) for candidate sourcing and acquisition.


  • Strong proficiency in advanced candidate sourcing techniques, including Boolean search strings, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Search, Google Search, and diversity-focused search strategies.


  • Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); experience with Dayforce preferred.


  • Familiarity with Affirmative Action principles and compliance with OFCCP (Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs) guidelines is required.


Certificates/Licenses Required:



  • Certified Talent Acquisition Specialist (CTAS) - preferred


  • LinkedIn Certified Professional-Recruiter - preferred


  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) - preferred





Knowledge, skills and Abilities Required:



  • Knowledge of contemporary talent acquisition methodologies, including active and passive candidate sourcing, employer branding, and talent acquisition marketing strategies.


  • In-depth knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and how to leverage them to streamline the talent acquisition process.


  • Knowledge of relevant labor laws, Affirmative Action, and OFCCP regulations related to recruiting and hiring practices.


  • Knowledge of best practices and legal requirements for promoting diversity and inclusion in the hiring process.


  • Understanding of industry trends, market compensation data, and the competitive landscape to attract top talent.


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with candidates, hiring managers, senior leadership, and external partners.


  • Skilled in negotiating salary offers, benefits, and employment terms with candidates while maintaining a positive employer brand.


  • Strong ability to troubleshoot challenges in the talent acquisition process and propose effective solutions.


  • Proficient in using recruitment platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.), job boards, and advanced search techniques (Boolean search, Google search).


  • Skilled in using data and metrics to drive decisions and improve talent acquisition strategies.


  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining organization and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


  • Ability to establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with hiring managers, candidates, external partners, and other stakeholders.


  • Ability to engage, motivate, and build rapport with candidates, ensuring a positive experience throughout the hiring process.


  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing needs, priorities, and business environments.


  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of candidate and company information, adhering to privacy and ethical standards.


  • Ability to make sound, data-driven decisions in evaluating candidates and selecting the best-fit talent for the organization.

Pay Range: Salary: $68,900 - $81,100
