What We're Looking For:

A passionate and detail-oriented Room Service Captain who thrives on creating memorable in-room dining experiences. You'll be the driving force behind seamless operations, ensuring every order is delivered with precision, warmth, and a touch of Loews elegance. In this role, you'll lead a dynamic team, coordinate with culinary and beverage partners, and champion service standards that delight guests and elevate their stay.

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee daily in-room dining operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of orders to guest rooms

  • Monitor food presentation, tray setup, and delivery processes to maintain Loews' quality standards

  • Coordinate with kitchen, bar, and front desk teams to guarantee smooth service flow

  • Greet guests warmly, address inquiries or special requests, and resolve complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction

  • Lead, coach, and support room service servers and order takers during shifts

  • Assist with onboarding and training new team members; manage daily staff assignments

  • Conduct pre-shift meetings to share goals, menu updates, and guest preferences

  • Maintain inventory of room service supplies and ensure proper equipment handling

  • Enforce safety, sanitation, and hotel policies throughout operations

  • Regular attendance in conformance with standards

  • May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs

  • Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Your Qualifications Include:

  • One year in-room dining or food and beverage experience in high volume, quality hotel operation

  • Thorough knowledge of quality room service techniques and standards

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and customer-oriented attitude

  • Ability to lift and carry food service trays weighing 35 plus pounds

  • Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
