Job Title: Equipment Maintenance Engineer - Ion Implant
Location: East Fishkill, NY
Employment Type: Open - either contract or direct employee, open to part-time contractor
Industry: Semiconductor
Compensation: Contract - Open, possibly $100 / hour, salaried - $180K (flexible)
Schedule: 40+ hours / week - Day shift

What You'll Do:
  • Utilize diagnostic equipment to monitor equipment performance, diagnose the root cause, and make reliability improvement recommendations.
  • Dismantle, adjust, and repair equipment in accordance with maintenance specifications and repair manuals.
  • Use schematics, hand tools, electrical gauges, and common test equipment for calibration, diagnosis, and repair of equipment.
  • Drive solutions and guidelines, recommending and writing maintenance procedures and specifications.
  • Perform scheduled tool qualifications.
  • Vendor management and coordination.
  • Opportunity to provide leadership to other technicians by providing training and mentoring.

Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
Min 5 years of Ion equipment maintenance experience including knowledge of the Implant and/or EPI area, including general process theory and equipment mechanics, and knowledge of electronic and mechanical systems and controls.
What Sets You Apart:
  • Prior experience in a 300mm semiconductor fab environment
  • 5S process experience
