Description Job Title: Equipment Maintenance Engineer - Ion Implant Location: East Fishkill, NY Employment Type: Open - either contract or direct employee, open to part-time contractor Industry: Semiconductor Compensation: Contract - Open, possibly $100 / hour, salaried - $180K (flexible) Schedule: 40+ hours / week - Day shift Tool experience: AMAT/Varian: VIISta 810 EHP/XPT (Medium Current) VIISta 80HP, HCP/HCS/Trident (High Current) 9003D (MEHD2) Axcelis: HE3 Purion EXE (High Energy) Purion H200 (MEHD) Purion M (Medium Current) What You'll Do: Utilize diagnostic equipment to monitor equipment performance, diagnose the root cause, and make reliability improvement recommendations. Dismantle, adjust, and repair equipment in accordance with maintenance specifications and repair manuals. Use schematics, hand tools, electrical gauges, and common test equipment for calibration, diagnosis, and repair of equipment. Drive solutions and guidelines, recommending and writing maintenance procedures and specifications. Perform scheduled tool qualifications. Vendor management and coordination. Job Requirements What You'll Bring: Min 5 years of Ion equipment maintenance experience including knowledge of the Implant and/or EPI area, including general process theory and equipment mechanics, and knowledge of electronic and mechanical systems and controls.
