Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; no advanced degree required.

Experience Requirements

• Prior experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or packaging environments is a plus, but not required for motivated candidates.
• Valid forklift or tow motor certification required.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate, monitor, and troubleshoot basic production equipment.
• Basic math and computer skills to support weight verification, product counts, and daily recordkeeping.
• Strong time-management skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to repeatedly get on and off a forklift throughout the shift.
• Regular standing, walking, reaching, handling, and gripping, with occasional sitting, stooping, and crouching.
• Ability to regularly lift and move up to thirty-five pounds and frequently lift up to forty-five pounds.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse and manufacturing setting that may include elevated or confined spaces, noise, heat, vibration, and other industrial conditions.

Job Duties

• Package products by hand and operate automated boxing equipment according to programmed weight specifications.
• Monitor equipment performance, make minor adjustments, and troubleshoot issues, escalating concerns as needed.
• Verify product weight, count, and packaging quality to meet daily production standards.
• Label, seal, and stage completed boxes for outbound shipment.
• Safely operate a forklift or tow motor in confined warehouse areas.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and complete daily 5S responsibilities within the steel warehouse.
• Follow all safety protocols, with flexibility for overtime and weekend shifts as production needs require.
