Beach House Hiring Event - Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Are you ready for our LAZ Parking Beach House HIRING EVENT? Come join the LAZ family - Make a Great First Impression!!

We're currently seeking versatile individuals to join our family for the Hilton Beach House resort here, in Fort Lauderdale. We will be hosting a job fair, for numerous positions are available: Cashiers, Valet Attendants, Supervisors and more!! (Pay rates vary based on position)

Location: Hilton Beach House Resort

Address: 505 N Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304

Dates: Friday + Saturday (August 21st & 22nd)

Time: 11:00am - 4:00pm EST

Pay Range: $11-17.00/HR + TIPS (depending on position)

Schedule: Full + Part Time shifts available!!

What to Wear: Business Casual

What to Bring: Two Forms of ID (ex. DL + SSC)

Requirements: must have a valid DL + No offensive visible tattoos. NO NECK OR FACE TATTOOS.

We will be HIRING ON THE SPOT!

What Will I Do?

• Welcome guests upon arrival and departure.
• Greet all customers by name, take care of their needs, and develop a rapport with each person driving up to your stand.
• Turn off each car and remove keys.
• Provide a self-reliant attitude when needed. Must be able to work with or without supervision.
• Promote awesome customer relations. Smile, go above and beyond, make them love LAZ Parking the moment they meet you.

You Are:

• Dynamic. You're charismatic, full of energy, and happy to help in any way you can.
• Dependable. Responsible is your middle name. You never disappoint because it's not in your nature.

• Experienced in the hospitality industry is a plus, but not required (Uber drivers are welcome)!!

• A good driver with a valid driver's license and driving record to prove it. You don't speed, you're cautious - ESPECIALLY with other people's property.
• Good under pressure. You don't fold and get overwhelmed easily. Instead, you prefer chaos so you can kick its butt.
• Good at communicating and can speak, read, and comprehend English easily.
• A team player. You're open to different opinions and can help motivate your team.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License (depending on position)
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong customer service experience.
• Parking and/or hospitality industry experience is preferred but not required.

Physical Demands:

• Willingness to work in the elements -- heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
• Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
